GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation

 

What we need

Live Life With Love will be what is known as the ‘We’ of the personal data you provide.  We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This does however include name, address, email etc.

You will continue to receive emails unless we receive notification stating your details are to be removed.

Why we need it

We need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with our monthly blog and any intermonth articles.  We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.
 

What we do with it

All the personal data we process is processed in the UK however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

 

How long we keep it

There is no requirement to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) but will keep it for the duration of the life of the website.  After this, any information held will be destroyed. Any information we use for marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
 

Session Note-taking

The records shall be kept for at least 7 years following the last occasion on which treatment was given.  In the case of treatment to minors, it is advisable that records should be kept or at least 7 years after they reach the age of majority (18). Record Keeping - Condition 14 c, on page 35

What we would also like to do with it

We would however like to use your name and email address to inform you of our future offers. This information is not shared with third purposes and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or website.

Working online
We attempt to be GDPR compliant at all times.  We work within the policies offered by the GDPR platforms used for sessions.  We attempt to be GDPR compliant and work within the scope offered by the online platforms used for sessions.  If you believe a security incident has affected the confidentiality, integrity or availability of personal data that results in a risk to your rights and freedoms we have an obligation to notify the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.  Please inform in writing accordingly and we will report the matter.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.
 

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
